The BYU Young Ambassadors 40th Anniversary Reunion Come celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Young Ambassadors! We would love to have you with us as we reminisce and relive our glory days! Here are the list of events for the weekend of February 11-14, 2010! *next to time signifies an event that can be registered for by clicking "Register Here" at the top of the page. Thursday February 11, 2010 (**Thursday only for the YA Alumni who choose to perform in "The New Music Makers?") 9:00- Choreography and Music Rehearsal for "The New Music Makers" 12:00- Lunch Break 1:00- Rehearsal continues. Location: de Jong Concert Hall in the HFAC. 4:30- Dinner Break 5:30- Sound Check 6:45- Green Room. Location: de Jong Concert Hall Green Room. *7:30- Performance of "The New Music Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassadors Alumni performers Feel the thrill of taking the stage with the current Young Ambassadors! If you choose to perform, you will be assigned two numbers to learn during Thursday rehearsal. More details will come to those who register! 9:30- Home to rest Friday February 12, 2010 3:00- Tour of the new Young Ambassador facilities. Location: BYU Richards Building 6:45- Green Room for YA Alumni/Current YA's. Location: de Jong Green Room. *7:30- Performance of "The New Musice Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassador Alumni performers. Tickets may be purchased after December 7 through the HFAC Ticket Office by calling (801) 422-4322. Ask for the Young Ambassador Reunion Discount of $6 per person. Tickets at the door will be $10. 9:30- Welcome reception for YA Alumni. Location: BYU Hinckley Center Saturday February 13, 2010 9:00- Fireside rehearsal with Randy Boothe for Sunday evening fireside broadcast. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium. *12:30- Alumni Luncheon by Decades. Location: Skyroom Restaurant, Tanner Building Room #710. Join friends from your decade of Young Ambassadors for a catered lunch on the BYU Campus. Lunch will be a pasta buffet including fettuccini and rotinni pasta with alfredo, meat, and marinara sauces; seasoned vegetables; a choice of Caesar salad or tomato, mozzarella, and basil salad, and breadsticks; and dessert. *2:00- Matinee Performance of "The New Music Makers" in the de Jong Concert Hall featuring Young Ambassador Alumni performers 3:30- "Many Mighty Miracles" Fireside presented by Randy Boothe and Young Ambassador Directors. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium 5:00- Free Time *6:30- 40th Anniversary International Buffet Location: BYU Conference Center Banquet Room *8:00- 40th Anniversary Alumni Showcase Concert. Location: BYU Conference Center Auditorium Attend an unforgettable evening celebrating forty years of the Young Ambassadors. Enjoy an international cuisine experience that revisits favorite Young Ambassador destinations around the world. Dinner will be followed by a special showcase featuring musical performances by fellow alumni. Sunday February 14, 2010 2:00- Fireside rehearsal. Location: LDS Conference Center Little Theatre. 5:00- Dinner Break. 6:15- Prayer Meeting *7:00- Filmed YA Alumni Fireside titled "I Am a Child of God" Location: LDS Conference Center Little Theatre Downloadable rehearsal tracks/sheet music will be available in December on YA alumni website. Fireside will be broadcast, all music must be memorized. Seating for fireside singers is limited to 300, all others are welcome to attend. Lunches are provided by Apple Spice Junction Deli and are served with your choice of sandwich, pasta salad, potato salad or frog eye salad, with fresh cut veggies and a vegetable dip, bag of chips, and cheesecake. 8:30- Farewell until the 45th Anniversary Reunion in 2015
